Food was delicious The owner of the restaurant even cooked our food for us talk about a true 5 start service We were nervous going in at first because we didn't see much people but we are glad that we went in. Thank you so much again.
I like seafood, but I've never been much of a clam, oyster, mussel kind of person. But my friend wanted to try this place, so I thought I would give it a chance. The restaurant itself is very small and inconspicuous. There weren't many tables, but that wasn't a problem since there wasn't a single other customer there during the entire duration of my meal. We ordered the Combo Set A, and it was just enough food for the three of us. I am glad the server helped us cook the food because I wouldn't have known what to do. There were a few sauces to dip the seafood in, which I enjoyed. Overall, the food was good but not really something I would want to come back for often. However, if you are someone who enjoys clams, this is the place for you.
Love this Korean seafood bbq restaurant! V Good location, easy for parking.. We ordered combo B, only $115, including Seafood salad, pancakes, steamed eggs, mayonnaise corn, Manila clams, cherry stone clam, mussels, live abaloney, squid, soaltops soup, shrimp, scallops, marinated scallops, oysters, baby octopus, kalguksu, potatoes, sweet potatoes!
The Clam House may not seem like much from the outside, but don't let appearances fool you! The food here is truly exceptional. I visited on Saturday night around 6:30 PM with a group of three, and we were seated right away, no wait required. Our server, Choi, initially came across with a serious demeanor, all business, but like the clams he serve, he gradually opened up, adding to the experience. We ordered Combo C, which offered plenty of food for everyone. Highlights for me were the Manila clams, scallops, and steamed egg--all cooked to perfection over a charcoal fire. The food, attentive service, and distinctive ambiance create an unforgettable experience for fresh seafood lovers!
It's very fresh and delicious. It's a lot. Above all, the boss is kind. I had such a good Friday night and l'm thinking of going again next time. I even promised the boss that I would go once a month.
When we crave seafood, this is our go to. We actually brought our own crack sauce and let me tell you. That was the finishing touch. The food is really good and the staffs are all so kind and sweet. So easy going and was okay with us bringing our sauce from home. I believe we got the smallest set and it was perfect for 3 people. We were all so stuffed. So flavorful and so delicious. Their sauce they provide there is also good, it has a kick to it too. Loveee it here
I simply enjoyed watching the clams open up as they were cooked on the grill. My party was impressed with the rise achieved in the savory egg custard side dish (it was soufflé-height) and the overall taste. There is no dipping sauce, which some might expect at a hotpot place (with the understanding this is not one), but I liked the food as-seasoned. Service was prompt and polite.
The restaurant has a parking lot to the side so parking is not too bad. It's a fairly small store with just a few tables inside so you may have to wait especially if you have a large wait. We came fairly early around 5pm and waited but the wait wasn't too bad. For a table of 5 we ordered combo C and it was a good portion. Lots of fresh seafood cooked in front of you followed by noodle soup at the end and the potato and sweet potato that was cooking under the flane as you ate your seafood. I have to say I didn't quite know what I was getting into and the seafood was fresh indeed, some still moving which did scare me a tad when I first saw it in front of me but....I still ate the food haha....nice grilled flavor. Tasty sides of steamed egg and pancake and I really liked the noodles at tue end. Quite a uniwue experience. Staff was nice Just be prepared to smell like bbq once you leave
What a gem of a place! We found our go-to seafood restaurant in LA, and we'll be thinking about it regularly all the way from San Francisco. If you like fresh, high-quality, flavorful seafood with great service, this is your spot. We ordered combo D for a table of 5 and were given the fluffiest steamed egg, refreshing cold noodles, corn cheese, and seafood pancake. All sides were incredibly comforting and delicious. As we were eating the appetizers, the seafood started to come out. They are so alive and fresh that a few of them come out moving and dancing. The owner himself, a gem of a human, cooks each item for you. We had the freshest clams, abalone, oysters, octopus, mussels, and more. There were a few items I'd never had before, and each left a lasting impact. My favorites were the Manila clam and the cooked oyster. The oyster is cooked so perfectly that it becomes plump in size. I'm salivating just thinking about it! I love how thoughtful the pairings are. The seafood tastes incredibly good with the aforementioned sides, and when you think you can't be satisfied enough, they serve a delicious scallop soup and, lastly, a broth with perfectly cooked noodles. The broth completes the meal with its refreshing kick. We will absolutely be visiting each time we are back!
This was a fun experience! The food gets cooked right in front of you on your table. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was a fun chill vibe. Definitely a great place to start off your night. Taste 8.5/10 Cleanliness 8.5/10 Service 9/10 Value 8/10 Ambiance 9/10
